Leif Thorwaldsson

Leif Thorwaldsson is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as Chairman of the Board and Board Member for both Proton Group and Proton Industries since April 2019, Thorwaldsson also holds multiple board positions including Board Member for Thorwaldsson Optik AB and Industrikonsult LT AB, which Leif founded in December 2019. Additional roles include Senior Advisor at Lantmännen Lantbruk and LANTMÄNNEN FINANS AB, Board Member and President at Lantmännen Maskin AB, and former Senior Advisor at Altor Equity Partners and CEO at Ålö AB. An alumnus of Chalmers University of Technology with a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, Thorwaldsson also has a background in Mechanical Engineering from Hässleholms Tekniska Skola and further education at the University of California, Berkeley.
