Dr Haroon Ahmad has a diverse work experience. In 2016, they began working as a Student Ambassador at the University of Birmingham, a role they held until 2020. In 2019, they joined NHS England as a Clinical Entrepreneur and later became a Clinical Entrepreneur Programme Assessor. During the same year, they also served as a Regional Lead for the EIT Health Alumni Network and as a Scholar at The Healthcare Leadership Academy. In 2020, they co-founded and became the CEO of Eczemadoc. Dr Haroon also worked as an Academic Foundation Doctor - Leadership at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust during this time. Additionally, they were a Fellow (N20 Cohort) at Founders of the Future and a Member of 20:40. In 2021, they joined Proton Health as a Co-Founder and CEO. Lastly, they served on the organizing committee for Connect 2019 at EIT - European Institute of Innovation and Technology.
Dr Haroon Ahmad completed their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the University of Birmingham between 2014 and 2020. Prior to that, they attended Greenhead College from 2012 to 2014, where they studied Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and Physics. Dr Ahmad obtained a BSc in Management from Imperial College Business School in 2019. Dr Haroon completed their secondary education at Newsome High School from 2007 to 2012.
