Taiki Asakawa

Taiki Asakawa has had a diverse work experience beginning in 2008. Taiki started their career as an Actuarial Analyst at Sony Life Insurance Co., Ltd. In 2013, they moved to Cambridge Energy Data Lab as a Data Analyst. After five years of self-employment as an individual investor, they joined TontineTrust as an Actuary in 2018. In 2019, they co-founded Deep Data Research. In 2020, they became the Head of Sales & Distribution | Asia Pacific & EMEA and Local rep at Protosure. In 2021, they took on the role of Secretariat at the Japan Alternative Data Accelerator Association.

Taiki Asakawa has an education history that spans from 2003 to 2014. Taiki obtained a BSc in Mathematics from Waseda University from 2003 to 2008. Taiki then attended Bayes Business School from 2011 to 2012 and obtained an MSc in Actuarial Science with a focus on Actuarial Science. After that, they attended The University of Dundee from 2013 to 2014 and obtained an MSc in Data Science. Taiki also attended University of Cambridge, but did not obtain a degree. In addition, they obtained three certifications from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in 2013: CT1 - Financial mathematics, CT4 - Models, and CT6 - Statistical methods.
