Cpc Tara Briggs

Tara Briggs, CPC, serves as the Director of Revenue Cycle Management at VCU Health since November 2020, overseeing revenue management and patient access for multi-specialty clinics and academic medicine departments, ensuring the integrity of revenue and billing activities. Previously, Tara held the roles of Regional Practice Administrator at Bon Secours Health System, managing divisions with numerous providers, and Group Exercise Instructor at Riverside Health System, leading fitness classes. Additionally, Tara has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Faculty member at Old Dominion University and as an Adjunct Instructor at Virginia Peninsula Community College, teaching various communication and health-related courses. Tara holds a Master's in Executive Leadership from Liberty University and a Bachelor's in Health Services Administration from Old Dominion University, along with an Associate's Degree in Medical Office Administration from Thomas Nelson Community College.
