Jason Barker

Jason Barker has over two decades of extensive experience in cost analysis and transportation management. Currently serving as the Cost Analysis Manager at ProTrans International since January 2003, Jason leads a team focused on achieving cost savings, conducting account reviews, optimizing freight movement through a vast carrier network, and ensuring acceptable customer margins. Prior roles include Transportation Cost Analyst, Import/Export Manager, and Transportation Analyst within the same company, where responsibilities encompassed managing freight spending, analyzing cost efficiencies, and providing pricing strategies. Earlier in their career, Jason gained QA experience in database software at MDBS. Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from DePauw University, earned between 1997 and 2001.
