Sylvie Gerard

Sylvie Gerard has extensive experience in sales and management roles. Sylvie currently holds the position of Sales Director EMEA South at Prova since 2021. Previously, they worked at PROVA SAS as the Sales Director EMEA South, where they were responsible for developing the global sales strategy for the EMEA South region and managing sales negotiation and expected profits. Sylvie also served as the Sales Manager for France at PROVA SAS, where they created the global sales strategy for France and managed the French sales team. Before that, Sylvie worked at Weishardt International as an Ingénieur technico-commercial B to B, where they developed and sold ingredients for the food and pharmaceutical industries, conducted negotiations with key accounts, and provided technical advice on manufacturing processes. Sylvie also has experience in project management and multimedia from their roles at the Université de Rennes 1 - CIRM and CFPPA La Roche sur Foron - Lyon - Grenoble. Additionally, Sylvie has experience as a business owner and sales manager at Transversal projet, where they created the company, defined the sales strategy, and developed training modules in sales, communication, and management. Sylvie started their career as an Agent commerciale at VHC before moving on to Weishardt International as a responsable régional. Sylvie Gerard has demonstrated expertise in sales, strategy development, negotiation, team management, and project management throughout their career.

Sylvie Gerard began their education in 1987 at the University of Bourgogne, where they pursued a DEUG degree in Chemistry. Sylvie then attended the University of Montpellier from 1989 to 1991, earning both a Bachelor and Master's degree in biochemistry. Sylvie'sstudies at Montpellier involved various subjects such as biochemistry, molecular biology, biophysics, oncology, and pharmacology. Sylvie later attended ENSAIA - Nancy from 1991 to 1993, where they obtained an engineering degree with a specialization in the food industry.
