Pete Bastian

Pete Bastien is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in climate and industrial investments. Currently serving as a Partner at Hitachi Ventures since December 2019, Pete also holds the position of Founding Member at ven^x starting February 2024. Previously, Pete held roles as Principal at Next47 and Siemens Venture Capital, along with a long tenure at Toyota Tsusho America as General Manager of Strategy & Business Development. Pete's academic credentials include an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
