Kristen Funk

Kristen Funk is currently the Talent Development Lead at Proven Recruiting. Prior to this role, they served as the Finance and Accounting Executive Search lead for the company. Kristen has also worked as an assurance experienced associate for PwC and a summer analyst for Goldman Sachs.

Kristen has been with Proven Recruiting since August 2016 and has been instrumental in growing the company from a small team of consultants to a 250-person award-winning organization. Kristen specializes in the direct hire placement of candidates in the fields of accounting and finance as well as account management for clients in the San Diego area.

Kristen Funk attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. Kristen also studied international business at CIEE Business and Society in Seville, Spain. Kristen is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a certification from the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).
