Ernest W. also worked as the Regional Vice President, Finance - East at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., where they managed a portfolio of over 66 hotels and $3.4 billion in revenues.
Glidden's earlier experiences include being the CFO for US Operations at Talisker Corporation, where they focused on growing the business and improving profitability, and serving as the SVP Finance at Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, overseeing financial reporting and supporting hotel development and acquisitions.
Ernest W. began their career as the Financial Controller at The Wigwam and later worked as the Group Financial Controller at John B. Coleman Co. (d.b.a. Ritz Carlton). Glidden also held director-level positions at Sun Life Financial and served as the Financial Controller at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

Ernest W. Glidden, CPA completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Hospitality at the UNH Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics, which they attended from 1980 to 1984. Following that, they pursued a Masters degree in Accounting at the DePaul Driehaus College of Business, from 1997 to 1999.
Additionally, Ernest W. Glidden obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Illinois Board of Examiners in September 2018.
