Dr. Cagle had a significant tenure at Novo Nordisk, where they held multiple roles. As a Regional Medical Scientist, they provided clinical and scientific support for Medical Scientific Liaisons and represented the Medical Affairs department for the cardiometabolic portfolio. Andrew also served as a Senior Medical Liaison, acting as a resource for healthcare providers and facilitating communication between HCPs and the Medical Affairs department.

Prior to their time at Novo Nordisk, Dr. Cagle worked at Eli Lilly and Company as a Clinical Research Physician, focusing on the growth hormone and insulin portfolio. Andrew was responsible for developing the medical strategy, reviewing promotional and scientific content, and overseeing regulatory documents.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Cagle worked as a Pediatric Endocrinologist and Diabetologist at Community Health Network and as a General Pediatrician at Major Hospital/Major Health Partners. Andrew also held the role of Field Medical Scientific Director at Novo Nordisk.

Andrew Cagle, MD, FAAP, BCMAS completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology/Chemistry from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis in 1994. Andrew then went on to earn their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1998. Following that, they pursued a Pediatrics Residency Program at Indiana University School of Medicine from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, they completed a Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship Program at Indiana University School of Medicine from 2001 to 2004, specializing in Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes.
