Joe Morgan M.D.

Joe Morgan, MD, serves as the President of Waya Health since September 2016 and is a Physician Partner at Providence Anesthesiology Associates, P.A., with a focus on medical direction of anesthesia at Watauga Medical Center. Previously, Joe Morgan was Co-Director of the Appalachian Nextgen Health Collaboration, which aimed to enhance healthcare access and delivery through innovative partnerships between Appalachian Regional Healthcare System and Appalachian State University. Joe Morgan completed an Anesthesiology Residency at Cleveland Clinic and served as Chair of the Resident Component for the Ohio Society of Anesthesiologists. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Upstate Medical University, an Anesthesiology residency at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry and Finance from the University at Buffalo and Clemson University, respectively.
