Karen Slocum

Karen Slocum is a seasoned anesthesiologist currently practicing with Providence Anesthesiology Associates since July 2015 and previously completed an anesthesiology fellowship at Wake Forest School of Medicine. Karen's foundational training included an anesthesiology residency at The George Washington University Hospital from July 2010 to July 2014. In addition to medical expertise, Karen is the owner of Little Pond Farm, a luxury event venue established in January 2022 in the mountains of North Carolina. Karen holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Boston College.
