Deborah Levine

Deborah Levine has an extensive academic career with significant roles at Providence College from September 2009 to July 2023, serving as the inaugural Associate Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences, and holding positions as Associate Professor and Department Chair. Previously, Deborah Levine was an Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow at Washington University in St. Louis from September 2007 to June 2009. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in History of Science from Harvard University and a Bachelor's degree in History from Washington University in St. Louis. Teaching expertise includes courses such as Introduction to American Health Care Systems and a Senior Seminar, as well as seminars focused on patient experiences and obesity.
