Lance Charles Sun

Lance Charles Sun is an experienced educator currently serving as a Spanish and Learning Center Teacher at Providence Country Day School since August 2021. Prior to this role, Lance contributed to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as Co-Chair of the Gifted and Talented Education Advisory Council. Lance's previous positions include Coordinator of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and K-7 Spanish Teacher at The Sage School, as well as a World Languages and Literature Teacher at Ross School, where responsibilities included developing specialized courses for ESOL students. Lance has also worked in various capacities, including social media management and archery program coordination. Educational qualifications include a M.A. in TESOL/Bilingual and Dual Language Immersion from the University of Rhode Island, and additional degrees and certifications in instructional technology, psychology, and languages from other prestigious institutions.
