Rebecca Roemer is a highly accomplished educator with extensive experience in technology integration and curriculum development. Currently serving as a Computer Science and Broadcast Journalism Instructor at Providence Day School since August 2018, Rebecca has been recognized with the College Board’s AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award for initiatives that significantly increased female enrollment in technology courses. Previously, Rebecca led the rollout of Chromebooks in multiple school districts as a Technology Instructional Coach and has a proven track record as an Instructional Technologist and Owner/Consultant at Ed Tech Consulting. With early roles as an Instructor of Computing and Innovation and a Product Specialist at Noldus Information Technology, Rebecca has consistently demonstrated a commitment to fostering student creativity and developing innovative educational solutions. Rebecca holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Applied Science from SUNY Oswego.
