Christopher Talusan

Christopher Talusan has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Christopher is currently working as the Director of Clinical Informatics at Providence Health Care since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Vancouver Coastal Health, where they held the positions of Senior Manager of Enterprise Clinical Informatics and Senior Informatics Specialist. Christopher also had a previous stint at Providence Health Care as a Clinical Informatics Lead and Clinical Architect. Before transitioning into informatics, Christopher worked as a Nurse Educator at Langara College and as a Registered Nurse at Providence Health Care. Christopher gained valuable experience as an Employed Student Nurse, where they worked in a general surgery floor and the ICU.

Christopher Talusan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, General from The University of British Columbia, which they obtained from 2002 to 2006. Christopher then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Langara College from 2006 to 2009. Afterward, they enrolled at the University of Victoria, where they completed a Master's Degree in Health Information Science and a Master's Degree in Nursing from 2014 to 2021.
