Emily Rose

Emily Rose is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in healthcare and clinical engineering. Currently serving as the Manager of Radiology Services at Providence Health Care since June 2019, Emily previously held the role of Regional Clinical Engineer at Vancouver Coastal Health from May 2015 to June 2019. Earlier in their career, Emily worked as a Human Factors Specialist and a Graduate Research Assistant at GF Strong Rehab Research Lab, as well as in various roles including Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for The Shanti Uganda Society. Emily's academic background includes a Master's Degree in Public Health from The University of British Columbia and a Master of Health Science in Clinical Engineering from the University of Toronto, where a thesis focused on medication error detection was completed. Additional experience includes internships in clinical IT systems and human factors at esteemed institutions such as Massachusetts General Hospital and the Centre for Global eHealth Innovation.
