Tamar Katz is an experienced healthcare executive with a robust background in capital equipment management and strategic planning within large healthcare systems. Currently serving as Associate Vice President at Providence since August 2017, Tamar leads Capital Equipment Management in the Service Segment at Providence Saint Joseph Health. Tamar has overseen $1 billion in capital expenditure across over 38 hospitals, focusing on new technologies and equipment planning. Previous roles include System Director of Capital Equipment Planning & Field Operations at Providence Health & Services and Executive Director at Providence St. Joseph Health, where overall equipment strategy and a substantial equipment inventory valued at nearly $3 billion were managed.
