Chad Turner

Chad Turner currently serves as the Deputy Director of Natural Resources and Coastal Services at Providence, an Engineering and Environmental Consulting Firm, since September 2023. Prior to this role, Chad held the position of Environmental Project Manager at Matrix New World Engineering, Inc. from September 2015 to September 2023, where responsibilities included natural resource permitting and compliance across various sectors and managing GIS operations for the Baton Rouge office. Chad's career also includes experience as an Environmental Scientist at Providence from June 2013 to September 2015 and as an Environmental Impact Specialist at the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development from June 2009 to June 2013. Chad earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University between 2004 and 2008.
