Mary de Los Reyes

Mary De Los Reyes has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Mary began their career in 2004 as the Director of Risk Management & Patient Safety, Compliance & Privacy Officer at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center, San Pedro. Mary held this position for over 10 years until February 2015. In September 2015, they joined Mission Hospital as the Director of Risk Management, where they currently work.

Mary De Los Reyes obtained their first education in nursing from California Hospital School of Nursing, where they earned a Diploma in Nursing from 1975 to 1978. Mary then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Long Beach, which they completed from 1984 to 1987. Later, in 1994-1998, Mary attended Western State College of Law and earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree. Additionally, they obtained several certifications throughout their career, including certifications in patient safety, workshop instruction for disclosing medical errors, and healthcare risk management.
