Jon Schneider

Jon Schneider, Chief Financial Officer for Providence Real Estate, oversees the areas of accounting, finance, tax, and treasury. Jon joined Providence in May of 2014.

Jon has over 17 years of experience in the accounting/finance industry, with over 12 years in Controller or similar positions at various real estate and construction companies. Prior to joining Providence, he most recently served as Senior Vice President of Accounting & Finance - Controller, with Colonial Properties Trust (NYSE:CLP) where his teams supported the company’s multifamily, commercial, development and construction, treasury, asset management and acquisition/due diligence departments. He also assisted in the transition of the $8.6 Billion total market cap merger with Mid-America Apartment Communities (NYSE:MAA).

Jon graduated from Samford University, in Birmingham AL, with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting as well as a Masters in Accounting.
