Marie Cora is a seasoned professional in adult education with extensive experience in program development and instruction. Currently serving as the Professional Learning Pathways Coordinator at Providence Public Library, Marie specializes in creating and delivering professional development opportunities for adult education staff both in Rhode Island and nationally. As an Independent Consultant since December 2003, Marie has provided expertise in areas such as assessment, accountability, and work-based education, working with clients including LINCS and the Office of Career, Technical and Adult Education. Past roles include Virtual ESOL Instructor at ABCD Boston, where Marie shifted to online instruction, and Staff Development Specialist in Assessment with SABES/World Education. With a robust academic background, including a Master’s degree in TESOL and ongoing studies in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Marie also holds a certificate in Community and Business Interpreting.
