Shirley Fuertes

Shirley Fuertes possesses extensive experience in finance and program management, currently serving as Controller at Providence Public Library since October 2018, with prior roles as Senior Accountant and Program Manager. Shirley has been involved with English for Action since May 2008, contributing as a member of the Executive Leadership Team and serving as Direct Services Coordinator. From July 2015 to September 2020, Shirley held the position of Executive Director at EFA English for Action. Shirley attained a degree in Auditor Financiero, Economics from Universidad Autónoma Gabriel René Moreno between 1994 and 1999 and has pursued further education at Community College of Rhode Island, University of Rhode Island, and Rhode Island College.
