Lori Nelson

Lori Nelson, LCSW, has an extensive background in social work, serving as a School Social Worker for Providence Public Schools since September 2013 and as an EOS Clinician/Outpatient Therapist at St. Mary's since June 2013. Previously, Lori held positions as a Clinical Social Worker at Child & Family from January to June 2013 and at Casey Family Services from December 1999 to December 2012, focusing on permanency planning. Earlier experience includes roles as Youth Programs Coordinator and Family Support Specialist at Providence Center from 1998 to 2002. Lori holds a Master of Social Work degree from Boston College (2002-2004) and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Rhode Island (1994-1998).
