Natalia Martin Orozco has had a long and varied career in the sciences. Natalia began their career in 1999 as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University. In 2002, they moved to The Hospital for Sick Children as a Research Fellow. In 2005, they joined MD Anderson Cancer Center as an Instructor. In 2012, they became a Senior Scientist and then a Scientist II at Bellicum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. In 2014, they moved to Iovance Biotherapeutics, Inc. as a Principal Scientist. In 2016, they joined Merck Serono as a Principal Scientist. Finally, in 2018, they joined Providence Therapeutics as Chief Science Officer, Chief Development Officer (CDO), and VP of Drug Development.
Natalia Martin Orozco received their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Natalia then earned their Master's degree in Immunology from the same university in 1995. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Medical Sciences -Immunology- from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in 2000.
