Christopher Martin

Chris Martin, a highly experienced executive, has held various leadership roles throughout their career. Chris served as the Executive Chairman at Provident Financial Services since 2022. Prior to that, they were a member of the Board of Trustees at Elon University starting in 2013. Martin also held key positions at The Provident Bank, including President & CEO, from 2004 onwards. Before that, they served as CEO/President at First Sentinel from 1984 to 2004 and held the role of President & CEO at First Savings Bank from 1982 to 2003. Throughout their extensive work experience, Chris Martin has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a proven track record in the financial industry.

Chris Martin earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Business Administration from Elon University from 1974 to 1978. Chris then pursued further education at Monmouth University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Finance, specializing in the field of study of Finance, from 1989 to 1991.
