Jim Christy

Chief Risk Officer at Provident Bank

Jim Christy started their career at Summit Bank in 1989 as an Audit Manager and remained in that role until 2001. In 2001, they joined The Provident Bank as a General Auditor, a position they held until 2012. From 2012 onwards, they served as the Chief Risk Officer at The Provident Bank.

Jim Christy attended Mattituck High School from 1981 to 1985, where they earned a High School degree. Jim then went on to Georgetown University from 1985 to 1989, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. After that, they pursued further education at Fordham University from 1989 to 1994 and received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Accounting.
