Sergio Alves

Sergio Alves has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Sergio started their career in 2004 with Valley National Bank, where they completed a Commercial Credit Training Program. Sergio then joined Millennium bcp in 2005 as a Commercial Credit Underwriter and later became a Team Lead/Interim Credit Manager. In 2009, they moved to Provident Bank as an AVP, Commercial Credit Underwriter. In 2014, they transitioned to the role of VP, Credit Technology Analyst, where they were responsible for supporting users, improving systems and procedures, designing workflows, creating advanced reports, and troubleshooting. In their most recent role at Provident Bank, starting in 2019, they served as a VP, Data Scientist/Analyst.

Sergio Alves completed their Bachelor's degree at Montclair State University from 2001 to 2005. Sergio focused on Business Administration with a dual concentration in Finance & Economics during their time at the university. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2001, Sergio studied Computer Science at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
