Julien Vantyghem, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of HR and talent development. Starting from 2005, Julien worked at HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) as the Head of Legal Operations, HR, and Training in London. Here, they were responsible for recruitment, training, and discipline of lay magistrates and led a team of lawyers. Julien also worked at the Ministry of Justice UK as the Director of Royal Courts of Justice, overlooking people operations for 1200 employees. During this time, Julien implemented a talent pipeline and succession planning. In 2017, they were appointed as the Head of Change (People) for London Region at HMCTS, where they drove transformative digital change programs and fostered a collaborative change culture. In 2018, Julien worked part-time as a Talent Development Coach, providing coaching for the UK government and private clients while studying for certifications as a Certified Senior HR Professional and an Executive Coach. From 2020 to 2021, they joined the UK Civil Service as an HRBP and People Project Lead for Covid Response & Recovery. In this role, Julien established and developed a team to respond to the pandemic and supported recovery plans. Currently, Julien serves as the Head of Talent and Senior HRBP at Providentia Law Corporation, focusing on creating talent strategies and enhancing the people experience for a rapidly expanding law practice at the intersection of law and technology.

Julien Vantyghem, SHRM-SCP, obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Essex in 1991. In 1992, they qualified as a Barrister at Law (US - JD equivalent) from the Inns of Court School of Law in London. In 2003, they completed a Certificate in Training Practice from CIPD Qualifications. From 2018 to 2020, Julien pursued a Certified Executive Coach degree from the College of Executive Coaching. Additionally, they obtained the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in May 2020, and the SHRM California Law HR Specialty certification in January 2021.
