Joe Sargent

Joe Sargent has worked in a variety of roles since 1989. At the University of Tennessee, they held the roles of Police Sergeant over Communications, Police Officer over Communications, and Police Officer. In 1996, they joined Walters State Community College, where they held the roles of Assistant Vice President / CIO (Retired), Executive Director / CIO, Director of Communications, Assistant Network Manager, and Microcomputer Specialist. In 2019, they moved to PDS of Morristown, where they currently serve as Chief Operating Officer and Operations and Consulting.

Joe Sargent's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology (Criminial Justice) from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (1985-1996). Joe then completed Computer Science Bachelor's Work at East Tennessee State University (2004-2006) and Computer Science Master's Work at East Tennessee State University (2006-2007). Joe subsequently obtained a Master's Degree in Professional Studies in IT Leadership from East Tennessee State University (2007-2009).
