April Serink

April Serink, MA, is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in both public and private sectors. Currently serving as the Strategic Communications Specialist for the Provincial Auditor of Saskatchewan since April 2019, April is responsible for leading the Office's strategic communications plan and producing diverse communication materials. As Chair, Vice Chair, and Member of the Canadian Council of Legislative Auditors Communications Working Group, April contributes to developing communications strategies for legislative audit firms. Previous roles include Marketing Communications Manager at Calgary Public Library and Instructor at Bow Valley College, along with a background in freelance writing and communications for various organizations. April holds a Master's Degree in International Relations and Cultural Diplomacy and has received a Graduate Diploma in Public Relations, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology.
