Candice Manahan Coyne

Candice Manahan Coyne serves as the Executive Director of Medical Staff Quality and Engagement at the Provincial Health Services Authority, a position held since December 2023. Prior to this role, Candice was the Regional Director of Physician Quality, Engagement & Education and the Regional Manager of Policies and Clinical Practice Standards at Northern Health - BC from August 2012 to December 2023. As a private contractor for Coyne Manahan Consulting, Candice contributed as a Physician Recruitment and Retention Consultant and a Physician Engagement Lead for various healthcare initiatives. Earlier experience includes positions at BC Cancer Agency as a Research Facilitator and at the University of Northern British Columbia, where Candice managed the BC Rural and Remote Health Research Network and coordinated multiple health services research projects. Additional roles at the University of Victoria involved serving as an Aboriginal Field Coordinator in the School of Child & Youth Care. Candice holds a Master's degree in Community Health Science from UNBC and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the same institution.
