Emily Hamilton

Emily Hamilton has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Emily is currently serving as the Executive Director, Provincial Health Systems, Provincial Digital Health, and Information Services at Provincial Health Services Authority. Prior to this role, they held positions such as Senior Director, Digital Health - Primary, Community and Specialty Care, Director, Partnerships and System Enablers, Virtual Health, and Lead, Change Management, Evaluation and Results Reporting.

Before joining Provincial Health Services Authority, Emily worked as the Co-Executive Director for the eatART Foundation, a volunteer position where they were responsible for building strategy and managing operations. Emily also worked at Vancouver Coastal Health as a Business Support Associate and at Canaccord Capital as a Human Resources Advisor. Emily'sexperience showcases their expertise in various areas such as digital health, change management, stakeholder engagement, integration, and patient safety.

Emily Hamilton's education history includes a range of certifications and degrees. In 2000-2003, they attended the Courtauld Institute of Art, U. of London, where they earned a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts degrees in History of Art. From 2010 to 2011, they attended the Leading Edge Group and obtained a Lean Greenbelt certification in Lean/Process Improvement. In 2011-2012, they attended PHSA and completed Lean Leader Education. Emily received additional certifications in various fields, including Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in 2018, Prosci Change Management Certification in 2014, and Quality Academy training from the BC Patient Safety & Quality Council in 2013.
