Harvey Hawes is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in trauma and acute care surgery, medical device manufacturing, and global health initiatives. As the Founder and Chief Medical Officer at Building Bloc, Harvey drives innovation in agile medical device manufacturing. Currently serving as the Provincial Medical Director for Trauma Services in British Columbia, Harvey provides clinical leadership and strategic guidance. Additional roles include Founder and Chief Medical Officer at LHS Labs, Co-Founder at Needly, and Trauma Surgeon at Vancouver General Hospital, where Harvey engages in education and collaboration on trauma systems development. As a Venture Partner at Ambershore Group and Director of Operations for the Vancouver Branch of Innovative Canadians for Change, Harvey focuses on humanitarian efforts to improve health for vulnerable populations.
