Juan Jose Cruz Martinez

Juan Jose Cruz Martinez has a comprehensive work experience in the field of architecture and design. Juan Jose currently holds the position of Director of Design & Construction at Provincial Health Services Authority, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they served as Vice President on the Board of Directors at VGH Thrift Store starting in 2020. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Senior Designer & Project Manager at MGA | Michael Green Architecture. Before that, they were an Associate and Project Manager at ZGF Architects from 2016 to 2019. Juan Jose also worked as a Team Leader at Silver Thomas Hanley from 2013 to 2016. In addition, Juan Jose held positions such as Project Architect at TERROIR Architects from 2011 to 2013, Architect at BatesSmart from 2010 to 2011, Project Architect at OTAISA from 2005 to 2009, and intern at Universidad de Sevilla in the Graphic Expression Department from 2004 to 2005.

Juan Jose Cruz Martinez has a Master's degree in Design from the University of New South Wales. Juan Jose also holds a Master's Degree in Architecture, Urban Design, and Restoration from the Universidad de Sevilla, as well as a degree in Architecture from the Università degli Studi di Firenze. Additionally, they have completed a Porosity Design Studio program at Donghua University and a summer term at the University of Liverpool. Juan Jose Cruz Martinez has obtained certifications in managing design-build uniqueness, evidence-based design accreditation and certification, LEED Green Associate, infection control plan preparation, work safety in the construction industry, and is a registered architect with COAS - Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Sevilla.
