Ylona Vandensande is a professional with extensive experience in educational policy and teaching. Currently serving as an advisor for supportive educational policy and project coordinator for Trampoline at Provincie Antwerpen since September 2020, Ylona previously worked at BA Stassart from September 2011 to August 2020 as a teacher in the General Subjects for the third grade BSO and as a teacher of Dutch as a second language in the welcome class for non-native newcomers. Ylona held leadership roles including chairperson of the parent and student participation working group and the PAV subject group, as well as being a member of the diversity working group and the school4rights working group. Earlier experience includes working as a project worker at Toemeka vzw from January 2008 to August 2011, where Ylona developed and facilitated training for diverse audiences, and as a staffing consultant at Actief Werkt! Uitzendbureau from August 2006 to December 2008. Ylona holds multiple degrees from KU Leuven, including a Master's in International Relations and a Master's in Social and Cultural Anthropology, as well as a Specific Teacher Training qualification.
