Frederiek van der Geest

Frederiek van der Geest has extensive experience in public administration and regional cooperation, serving since September 2005 as a Senior Advisor for Internationalization with a focus on Germany and Coordinator of Interprovinciaal Overleg at Provincie Groningen. Additionally, Frederiek has held multiple leadership roles aimed at improving intergovernmental relations and strengthening governance within municipalities across the Groningen province. Recent engagements include facilitating cross-border collaboration between the provinces of Groningen, Fryslan, Drenthe, Overijssel, and Niedersachsen for the Ministry of the Interior. Educational qualifications include a Drs. in Sociology from the University of Groningen, recent professional coaching training, and studies in law at the University of Groningen.
