Annebet van Duinen has extensive experience in project management and policy advising, currently serving as Projectmanager Water en Bodem Sturend and Beleidsadviseur klimaatadaptatie at Provincie Noord-Holland since 2014. Prior to this role, Annebet worked at the same organization from 1996 to 2013 as Beleidsadviseur erfgoed and Archeologisch depotbeheerder. Previous positions include Rijksdienst oudheidkundige Bodemonderzoek at Rijksdienst voor het Cultureel Erfgoed and an archeologist role at Gemeente Waterleidingduinen Amsterdam in 1994. Annebet van Duinen earned a doctoraal degree in Middeleeuwse archeologie from the Instituut voor pre en protohistorie at Universiteit van Amsterdam between 1990 and 1994.
