Arthur van Dijk

King's Commissioner at Provincie Noord-Holland

Arthur Van Dijk is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in governance and leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Voorzitter raad van toezicht at DutchCulture since January 2021, Arthur also holds the position of Commissaris van de Koning in de provincie Noord-Holland since January 2019. Previous leadership roles include Voorzitter at Adamas until December 2022, and Voorzitter at Transport en Logistiek Nederland from September 2013 to January 2019. Arthur's governmental experience includes serving as Wethouder Schiphol, Economie en Cultuur in Gemeente Haarlemmermeer from October 2003 to August 2013, and acting as Vice Director and advisor of the Minister at the Ministry of Justice from January 2000 to October 2003. Educationally, Arthur holds a Master's degree in Fiscal and Criminal Law from Leiden University, completed between 1993 and 1997.
