Kees Joustra has extensive experience in the fields of spatial planning, environmental policy, and infrastructure management. Currently serving as the plv. sectormanager omgevingsbeleid at Provincie Noord-Holland since September 2006, Kees has been instrumental in developing frameworks and executing projects related to spatial planning, water quality, and environmental quality. Kees has held various roles including member of the regieteam investeringskader waddengebied, programmamanager for multiple initiatives, and acting team leader for spatial frameworks. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Metropoolregio Amsterdam and gemeente Alkmaar, where Kees focused on traffic and transportation management. Kees holds multiple degrees including a Master of Arts from Leiden University and has completed advanced studies in change management.

The ‘South’ is specialised in IT & media, creative industry, logistics, food & flowers and finance.
