Marco Berkhout

Marco Berkhout is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in asset management and public infrastructure. Currently serving as Sectormanager IOT at Provincie Noord-Holland since 2008, Marco also holds the position of Voorzitter Stuurgroep iAMPro, focusing on knowledge sharing in asset management within public spaces. Previous roles include Programmamanager and Senior beleidsadviseur at various organizations, including the Raad voor Accreditatie, where Marco acts as a Technical Expert for ISO 55001. Additionally, Marco was involved in the creation of a Regional Energy Strategy for Noord-Holland Zuid at Energieregio Noord-Holland Zuid from January 2019 to September 2022. Earlier career experiences include leadership roles at Rijkswaterstaat and Global Crossing. Marco completed education at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences from 1996 to 2000.
