Carina Van Cauter

Carina Van Cauter currently serves as the Gouverneur of Provincie Oost-Vlaanderen and the Voorzitter of Steunraad for Streekfonds Oost-Vlaanderen, both positions held since September 2020. Previously, Carina held significant roles including Fractievoorzitter in the Senaat and Vlaams parlementslid from July 2019 to September 2020, and served as a Volksvertegenwoordiger in the Kamer van Volksvertegenwoordigers from 2007 to 2019. Carina also gained extensive experience as an advocaat at Advocatenkantoor Van Tittelboom - Van Cauter from January 1985 to September 2020, in addition to serving as Gedeputeerde at Provincie Oost-Vlaanderen from January 2004 to June 2007.
