Hilde Willems

Hilde Willems has extensive experience in communication and environmental management, currently serving as the Communicatieverantwoordelijke voor de dienst leefmilieu at Provincie Vlaams-Brabant since April 2001. Responsibilities include coordinating communication for environmental services, project communication planning, managing digital newsletters, and overseeing web content. Previously, Hilde held roles as Bestuurssecretaris leefmilieu, where research and communication focused on environmental and nature data, and as a Milieuadviseur for FEBEM and VEKMO, providing guidance on waste legislation and environmental permits. Educational qualifications include a Gegradueerde in Ondernemingscommunicatie and an Industrieel ingenieur in Scheikunde with a specialization in Milieutechnologie.
