S Eric Ryan

Prior to founding Provisio in 2014, Dr. Ryan was a senior executive at Volcano Corporation (acquired by Philips Healthcare), the leading IVUS company, where he served as Global Head of Clinical, Medical, and Scientific Affairs. He previously served as the founding Chief Technology Officer of InfraReDx, an intravascular imaging company acquired by the Japanese company Nipro. He has also served in a consulting role for a number of both major and early-stage companies, including assuming acting medical director or CMO roles in public medtech and biotech companies. In total, Dr. Ryan has nearly 20 years of experience in the medtech industry and is an inventor on numerous patents within the field.

Dr. Ryan earned his Medical Doctorate with honors at the University of Kentucky School of Medicine and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a degree focus on scientific applications from the University of Kentucky College of Engineering.
