Chanjoong Kim

Chanjoong Kim has a diverse work experience spanning various positions and companies. Chanjoong started their career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Harvard University in 2004. From 2008 to 2015, they worked at Kent State University as an Assistant Professor, where they developed smart polymer materials and led research projects. In 2015, they joined LG Chem as a Project Leader and Principal Research Scientist, focusing on microencapsulation and polymerization processes. Currently, they are employed at Provivi, Inc. since 2019, where they initially served as the Director of Formulation and is currently working as the VP of Formulation.

Chanjoong Kim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Fiber and Polymer Science from Seoul National University in 1994. From 1995 to 1998, they pursued a Master's Degree in Fiber and Polymer Science at the same institution. Following this, they attended The University of Akron in 1998 and 1999, where their field of study was Polymer Engineering. In 2000, Chanjoong Kim enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they received a PhD in Physical Chemistry in 2003.
