Jan Bello Ph.D.

Jan Bello, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the field of chemistry and chemical ecology. In 2010, Jan began their career as a Graduate Research Fellow at the University of California, Riverside, where they conducted research until 2014. Following this, Jan worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology from 2014 to 2016. Jan then continued their postdoctoral work as an Alexander von Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellow at TU Braunschweig from 2016 to 2017. In 2018, Jan joined the University of California, Riverside as an Assistant Project Scientist until 2019. Since 2019, Jan has been with Provivi, Inc., starting as a Scientist in BioAnalytical Chemistry and Formulations, then advancing to the role of Senior Scientist in Formulations, and currently holds the position of Principal Scientist and Associate Director in Formulation Development and Chemical Ecology.

Jan Bello Ph.D. pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from Pepperdine University between 2003 and 2007. Following this, they attended the University of California, Riverside from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry and Chemical Ecology.
