Rogelio Armenta has a diverse work experience in the agricultural industry. Rogelio started their career as a Becario de investigación at Monsanto Company in 2009 and worked there until 2010. Rogelio then joined Wholesum Harvest as a Pests and Diseases technician in 2013 for a brief period. In the same year, they also started working at Syngenta, first as a Trial Officer Jr and then as a Field Trialist Corn until 2016. From 2016 to 2018, Rogelio worked as a Research Specialist at Syngenta. In 2018, they joined Provivi, Inc. as an Associate Scientist - Field Research, responsible for the development of Provivi products in Mexico. Recently, they have taken on the role of Regional Sales at Provivi, Inc. starting in 2021.

Rogelio Armenta has a diverse education history pertaining to various fields of study. Rogelio initially pursued a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering at the Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa from 2005 to 2010. Following this, they obtained a Master's degree in Natural Resources and Environment with a specialization in Plant Biotechnology from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional, which they completed from 2010 to 2012.

Building on their previous degrees, Rogelio is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Agricultural Sciences with a focus on Agroecology and Sustainable Agriculture at the Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa, which they initiated in 2018 and is expected to complete in 2022. To expand their understanding in the field of business, specifically Agribusiness Management, they enrolled in the Universidad de San Miguel's Master of Business Administration (MBA) program with a specialization in Agribusiness Management. Rogelio attended this program from 2020 to 2021.
