Michelle Benefield

Michelle Benefield is an experienced nursing professional with a focus on emergency care, spanning a career from 2006 to the present. Currently serving as a Contract Nurse at OMV Medical Inc. and Sterling Medical Staffing Group since October 2018 and 2014 respectively, Michelle has demonstrated expertise in facilitating and coordinating care for patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics, while providing counseling on disease management and prevention. Previous roles include positions at TCMP Health Services, Mental Health Care Center of Jacksonville, RiverPoint Behavioral Health, and Shands UF of Jacksonville, where Michelle developed care plans and employed de-escalation techniques in various nursing settings. Michelle's educational background includes a Master’s in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University and two associate degrees, along with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State College at Jacksonville.
