Eulàlia Veny

Eulàlia Veny has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2019, they joined ProWritingAid, where they currently hold the position of NLP Product Manager. Prior to that, they worked at Appen as a Computational Linguist from 2016 to 2018, contributing to Spanish grammar development and QA testing. In 2018, they briefly worked as a Task Manager at Samsung Electronics. Before that, they were a Computational Linguist at Inbenta from 2015 to 2016. Eulàlia also worked as a Research Associate at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where they reviewed an ASR system. Eulàlia has experience as a translator, content manager, and English teacher as well.

Eulàlia Veny's education history begins in 2007 when they enrolled at the Universitat de Barcelona. Eulàlia completed their undergraduate degree, earning a Grau en Estudis Anglesos, which focused on English Language and Literature, General. After completing their bachelor's degree in 2011, Eulàlia Veny pursued further education at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Eulàlia obtained a Master's degree in Language Interpretation and Translation from 2011 to 2012. Following this, from 2012 to 2013, they attended UPF-IDEC to earn a Master's degree in Biomedicine and Natural Sciences Translation. In 2014, Eulàlia Veny enrolled at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra again and completed an academic year focused on Natural Language Processing in 2015. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Introduction to Data Science in Python from Coursera Course Certificates in March 2017.
