Jan Fredriksson

Jan Fredriksson is a seasoned professional in the fields of translation, copywriting, and localization, with extensive experience in German marketing and user experience writing. Since August 2012, Jan has been with Fredriksson Linguistica as a German Marketing Translator, Copywriter, and Localization Editor, specializing in app localization and marketing transcreation. Current roles include User Experience Writer at FREENOW and German Translator for multiple companies, including Native Translation AB and Proxify. Notable past positions include consultancy in corporate language at Viamedici DACH and managing projects for DVV International, focusing on adult education in Central America. Jan holds a Master of Arts in Conference Interpreting from Heidelberg University, as well as degrees in Journalism and Spanish and Iberian Studies, further complemented by teaching experience as a lecturer at Universität Bonn.
